Meet the Behymers
Norman and Cynda Behymer share a deep passion for strengthening leaders in both life and in leadership. Together, they bring decades of ministry, coaching, and leadership experience, helping pastors, executives, and women in leadership grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally so they can lead with clarity and lasting impact.
Both Norman and Cynda walked through seasons of profound loss after many years of marriage. Through God’s faithfulness, their individual journeys eventually brought them together, creating a shared calling to serve leaders with wisdom, compassion, and hope. Their story allows them to connect with leaders who are navigating change, growth, transition, or unexpected seasons in life and ministry.
Norman has spent more than 50 years in ministry leadership, serving for decades at Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany, Oklahoma. As an Executive Leadership Coach and mentor, he equips pastors and leaders to grow in wisdom, strengthen relationships, and raise the next generation of leaders.
Cynda brings over 40 years of ministry experience in Worship Arts and Women’s Ministry, along with 15 years of private coaching. As a Soul Care Coach, she provides women in leadership a safe and sacred space to process life, hear God’s voice, and pursue their God-inspired dreams while navigating the rhythms of leadership, family, and faith.
Together, Norman and Cynda serve leaders through executive coaching, women’s leadership development, retreats, and speaking engagements. Their shared mission is simple:
“When leaders grow healthier, everything they lead grows stronger.”
Norman and Cynda Behymer are passionate about strengthening leaders at home and in leadership so they can flourish in their calling and multiply impact.

Our Story
Our story began long before we ever imagined we would one day be serving together.
In 1975, Cynda’s family began attending the church where Norman served as Music Minister and Youth Pastor. Those early years became deeply formative for both of us. Cynda grew up involved in the worship and youth ministries, while her mother faithfully served as Norman’s secretary and played piano for worship services. It was during a youth album recording through the church that Cynda met her first husband, David. Years later, Norman and his wife, Denise, sang at Cynda and David’s wedding.
Soon after, David and Cynda moved to Florida, where they built a life, family, ministry, and community together for over 40 years through church planting, worship arts, production ministry, leadership, and serving others. At the same time, Norman and Denise continued faithfully building their own life and ministry, pouring into people, leadership, worship, and the local church through the decades.
Even while life carried us in different directions, the connection and impact remained. Throughout the years, David and Cynda often reflected on how much Norman’s leadership, character, and investment had shaped their lives and ministry journeys. The seeds planted in those early years became part of the foundation they carried into every season that followed.
Then life changed suddenly for both of us.
In the fall of 2024, Cynda’s husband, David, unexpectedly passed away. Just months later, in the winter of 2025, Norman’s wife, Denise, also suddenly passed away. Two families walking through unimaginable grief. Two people navigating loss, transition, questions, and rebuilding life one day at a time.
What began as conversations between longtime friends became a safe place to process grief, healing, faith, and the uncertainty that comes with profound transition. In the months that followed, God began gently stirring something new in both of our lives — not replacing what had been lost, but reminding us that even after devastating endings, He is still a God of new beginnings.
A close friend repeatedly reminded Norman during that season: “You’re not done. You’re not done. You’re not done.”
Those words became a reminder to both of us that purpose does not end in hardship, and neither does hope.
Today, our passion is helping people and leaders navigate the sacred, often difficult bridges of transition in life. Whether you have experienced the loss of a spouse, the ending of a season, leadership burnout, grief, disappointment, identity shifts, or unexpected change — we want you to know you are not alone.
We believe God meets people in the tension-filled places.
We believe growth can happen even in grief.
We believe endings can become beginnings.
And we believe your story — even the painful parts — can still be used for something meaningful, powerful, and life-giving.
Our heart is to walk alongside people with compassion, wisdom, faith, and hope as they rediscover purpose, healing, and the courage to move forward again.
Because sometimes the very seasons that break us open are the same seasons where God begins building something brand new.
Ready to grow as a leader and in life?
We would be honored to walk alongside you in your leadership journey.
